The rafting expedition on the Rio Apurímac is not for the faint of heart. The river offers technical, big rapids that will give you at least a few stories to tell. Apart from the incredible three days on the river, you will sleep on sandy beaches, eat delicious food prepared by your guides, swap stories around camp fires and see some incredible wildlife (scorpions included!). Don't miss out on the expedition of a lifetime.

  • After a healthy breakfast, we will start rafting around 9:00am.

  • We will be in the water for about 6 hours, doing mostly class III and IV rapids and will stop for lunch midday.

  • We will arrive to camp around 4:00pm. After camp is set-up, dinner and tea will be prepared and served by the guides before sleeping on a sandy beach under the night sky of the southern hemisphere.

- Day 3 -

  • After a good breakfast we will paddle a couple of class V rapids with names such as Toothache, You First and The Last Laugh.

  • After 3 or 4 hours of rafting, we will arrive to the take out where we pack all the equipment, eat lunch and drive back to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm.
