We will pick you up from our office or your hotel at 8am and drive 2 hours to the Kapua Waterfall trailhead. When we arrive, we will begin the 1 hour river walk along the bottom of a small canyon to the magnificant Kapua Waterfall that is nearly 30 meters tall. Along the way, we will come across several smaller waterfalls while zigzaging across the small stream. Upon arriving, we will eat a simple snack of fruit, water and chocolate a the base of the waterfall before turning back along the same trail to the transporation.

After finishing this short, refreshing trek  we will drive back towards Yura where we will have 1 hour to soak in the Yura Viejo baths located in a green ravine watered by a winding creek. The indoor pools have stones floors shooting out little sulphorous bubbles that tickle your skin and promote a divine relaxation. These indoor hotsprings are known to have healing properties due to the presence of alkaline sulfide, iron salts, and other minerals known to relieve symptoms assoiated with rheumatism, nervous disoders, stomach ailments, arthritis, stress and more.

Finally, we will stop to eat at a colorful local restaurant with typical Arequipan food, also known as a picantería. After eating a delicous lunch we will head back to Arequipa where we will drop you off a block from the main square at approximately 4pm.
