"I've never rafted before, but we found Kanuwa's brochure in La Petite Française and decided to give it a try. Communication prior to our trip has been clear and impeccable, and our guide Claire is actually from Alaska! Rafting was so much fun, we started a little less halfway of the river itself, with class 3 and 4 rapids for the first 1 hour and slower class 2 ride for the rest, giving us time to look a birds and relax a little. After that we had lunch (included in the fee) of the well known Majes fresh water shrimp, explored petroglyphs and finally arrived back at Arequipa a little before 7 PM. Majes river is warm all year round because the water comes from Colca Canyon, and is probably not that well known/well visited yet, so we had the entire river for ourselves. Overall we're really happy with the turnout! Jose, Claire, Emilio and William, you've been excellent guide, thanks a lot for hosting Aish & I (:"

"We did the full day trip and had just an incredible day! Travelled in style with a luxurious van out to the Majes river. Rafting was amazing through a beautiful canyon with some great rapids, warm water, and an excellent guides by the names of Joze, Emilio, and Claire. Finished up rafting and went to try some river shrimp which turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Headed out to the petroglyphs after and we're just amazed. Once it was time to head back we piled into the van and drove back to Ariquipa in time for dinner. Couldn't have asked for a better trip! Much appreciated team any rafters out there looking for a great time, go for a full day trip with Kanuwa rafting."
